Powerschool Parent Portal

PowerSchool PARENT Access Information

PowerSchool is an online tool that provides access to student grades and attendance.

In order for a parent to access PowerSchool, Deer Park Middle School must authorize access and create an account for the parent. 

If you need to have an account created, please send the information below to the Data Clerk, Mrs. Yolanda Washington Robinson, at yolanda_washingtonr@charleston.k12.sc.us. 

  1. Your child’s full legal name – as it appears on their birth certificate
  2. Your full legal name
  3. Your current home address
  4. Your email address
  5. Your best day-time contact phone number

Once this information is received, we will verify it and create an account.  You will then receive an email with your private Access ID and Password along with a link to the PowerSchool website.

*Parents of 6th grade students with older students at any CCSD school can link their 6th grade student to their existing PowerSchool account.  Just send the information above requesting that your 6th grade student be added to your account.

PowerSchool STUDENT Login Directions

PowerSchool is where you check your grades.

Go to the PowerSchool website https://ccsdschools.powerschool.com/public/home.html

  • Students login to PowerSchool using their MyPortal login credentials.

  • IF THAT DOES NOT WORK, login using  

    • Username: your network username  (example: smitom4892)

    • Password: same as your username, all lowercase letters   (example: smitom4892)

  • If you still cannot login to PowerSchool, send an email to heather_ferguson@charleston.k12.sc.
