Student Dress Code

The 2026-2027 Deer Park Middle Student Dress Code is as follows:

  1. SHOES: Sneakers, Crocs, or any closed-toe shoes are allowed. Slides and flip flops are NOT permitted on campus.
  2. SHIRTS AND TOPS: All shirts must cover the entire midriff and back. Crop tops, halter tops, and shirts that expose the belly are not permitted. Sleeveless shirts must have straps that are at least two inches wide.
  3. PANTS AND BOTTOMS: Pants, skirts, and shorts must be worn at the waist and should cover the midsection. No excessively tight or loose clothing that reveals undergarments will be permitted.
  4. DRESSES: Dresses must follow the top and bottom guidelines. No strapless dresses without a cover-up.
  5. ACCESSORIES: Baseball caps, knit caps, and decorative scarves ARE allowed. Bonnets, du-rags, bandanas, and ski masks are NOT allowed. Faces must be visible at all times.
  6. ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES: No see-through clothing, form-fitting bodysuits, offensive graphics, profanity, weapons, or drug-related imagery. No towels, blankets, or bandanas as accessories. Face masks are allowed for medical needs ONLY as determined by the school nurse.

Violations are subject to disciplinary action per CCSD's Progressive Discipline Plan.
